Most residential breaker panels in the U.S. are fed by a split-phase 240V system. That means the utility delivers two separate 120V “legs” (phases) into your panel. Each phase supplies power to different circuits in your home. For full coverage, it’s important to have at least one Plug-In unit on each phase — this ensures that dirty electricity is being filtered no matter which circuits your appliances and devices are drawing from. From there, the number of additional units depends on your home size and usage habits.

The Pure Power Plug-In EMF Filter will protect the circuit on which it is installed, as well as other circuits on the same phase, but it does not provide the same whole home protection as the Wire-In.
